Hello my friends and fellow deviants!

I would like to ask you for a little help.
I've always wanted to have my photo on National Geographic cover and now you can help me make my dream come true! :-)
There is a running contest on National Geographic (Czech Republic) page and I have one contest entry.
If you would like to help me, for voting you have to push "Like" facebook button on the NG page - that's all, nothing more, it's really quick and easy. =D

  2. Upload 10 of your BEST works.
  3. Your works have to be approved (7 from 10 at least).
  4. Become a contributor!
  5. Note me a link to your approved portfolio.

How do I participate?
  1. Register on Shutterstock.
  2. Upload 10 of your BEST works.
  3. Your works have to be approved (7 from 10 at least).
  4. Become a contributor!

What if they approve less than 7 from 10 images?
  • If they approve less than 7 from 10, don't worry. You can try it again after one month.
What if I'm only an art appreciator?
  • You still have a chance! Share my journal or my referral link ( http://submit.shutterstock.com/?ref=362362 ) with your watchers and friends through journal/news/groups etc. and I'll give you 20 points for EVERY contributor you bring to me! It means - if you have for example 500 watchers and friends and only 1% from them become contributors (1% = 5 watchers) I'll send you 100(!) points as a thank-you for sharing my link and every new contributor still recieves his 30 points! They just have to send me a note with link to their Shutterstock portfolio and write your name. DO NOT SPAM!
How to recieve dA keychain or dA points for free?And what about the money?
  • Shutterstock is the largest subscription-based stock photo agency in the world. It has more than 10,000,000 unique views per month so it's highly presumable your images will be sold. It's free to contribute and you'll earn $0.25 to $28.00 per image download. And also your work will get really high volume of exposure.
Why would you give a free keychain and points for this?
  • I'll be fair and honest to you. You have to register on Shutterstock via my referral link. If you don't like it, it's ok. Leave it or play it! :) As a little bonus I'm offering you my help with registration, submiting images or anything you will need. I think it's a fair deal and there's nothing to loose.. just try it and get money, points or keychain! ;-)
What is the best material for stock agencies?
  • Sharp, denoised photos with proper white ballance and exposition or vectors with ended paths they have a better chance to success than blurry shapshots and autotraced vectors with unfinished paths. Photomanipulations are welcome and you can also upload some interesting videos!
  • The best themes: Food, emotions, lifestyle, isolated objects, abstract backgrounds, business, textures, creative ideas.
  • The worst themes: Pets, flowers, sunsets, snapshots, uninteresting images.

Are there another stock agencies than Shutterstock?
  • As I've mentioned above to be a Shutterstock contributor you need to upload 10 images and get approved at least 7 of them. If you're looking for easier way to sell your photos, you can try Dreamstime. You become a contributor right after the registration and you can upload as many images as you want. Images will also wait to approve but only to prevent to get shapshots and low quality photos to the bank. If any of your photos wouldn't be approved you still stay a contributor and you can upload another at that moment again - no waiting.
:lightbulb: Quick tips:
:bulletblack: Denoise your photos! You can use superb freeware DenoiseMyImage.
:bulletblack: Respect the seasons! Upload eggs before Easter, pumpkins before Halloween or gifts before Christmas.
:bulletblack: Think about the keywords! Use the words you would search the image by.
